I've never hunted

Freddy eating clover flowers

Y'know I've only been fishing twice in my life

Rasa with Eva and her kids

well, come right in . . .
and I've never hunted, and if there wasn't a

Kroger Meat Dep't I don't know

if I could even do it, Ma Coleman Would

strangle, break the necks of them chicken,

and commenced the autopsy like we might run

a vacuum cleaner, I'm a city boy man,

sAt 13 I worked and went to school

every day go to school work a shift at my

Dad's Delicatessen in Southfield the newest

and massive sucess generated in suburb suburbia,

across 8 Mile from Detroit proper. My Dad, who was raised tending crops amd

fields on farmss other than their own 'victory garden which, managed to sustain a family of 14, Mama and Papa with 12 children, through hard labor and folkways inspired ingenuity. Picking cotton by hand remained the GM, Ford and Chrysler (Hudson, Packard, DeSoto, Nash, Willys, etc.), economic bulwark of the Southland, until 1948 when the first feasible mechanized cotton picking equipment was marketed, the apparatus removed the boles causing less damage to its delicate produce ever conceived, by local populations and far off bankers and financiers ince of. Day's end found more cotton boles littered the grounds of harvested fields by factors of multitudes, evading the nerveless steel of the contraption the nimble, experiences successful colg harvest this
the largest exile of people from the multi-generational settlements began in U. S. history
drive a Cadillac you needed

shades because the future looked so bright.

We have to get the shills out of government

that cater to Corporate interests,

things were really different, Society functioned

well in the 60's and 70's because The Jewish

boys were building Mansions out there and all

knew my Dad some since the 50's and loved

Corned Beef, and my Dad did it so good, he

was a trained US Army Cook, and upon

discharge went to Detroit because at one time

6 of his 7 brothers had all gone up , he was 15

when his older brother would drive up there

and he would get a restaurant job and work

meant more, I look at these McDonald's and

Walmart workers and their not get ahead at all

and working their ass off, the dignity of the

worker is not served with these obvious

monopolies appearing before our eyes and

their only blowin smoke up our ass in

Washington, I shook Walter Mondale's hand,

the Methodist Minister's son from Minnesota,

We were in the Elevator area of the

Renaissance Center Sheryl Robin and Me and

Sheryl

Sheryl Saw Reagan COME INTO THE HOTEL

AND GO UP HIS SUITE But I wasn't paying

attention just trying to navigate In the wall to

wall people, carrying the baby tired from

working right the at Nemo's Bar and Restaurant in the Renaissance

Center mall and The Republican Convention

was down the street at Joe Louis Arena but I'm

a lifelong blue collar Democrat It was only TV

show to me. I didn't care but business was

astounding at Nemo's, but they wanted really

long hours out of their Line Cooks, and you in

constant motion performing what you watched

dad do growing up but the hint of anyone

getting a raise was never raised once there.

Carter was a good Baptist no matter how

judge him politically and The Body of Christ,

was in the white house. using his faith to make

decisions,

WE HAD
we had collective bargaining rights which

Reagan destroyed when he fired all the PATCO

union personnel summarily and when the

second hand of the clock reached the deadline

to strike and Air Traffic controllers were not at

their posts. Replaced them with Air Force

Personnel anyone non PATCO, It was unheard

of to fire striking worker's at one time and it

didn't matter what you did, if you worked you

could get stuff and the dignity of the worker

was upheld when Truman used a maneuver to

get a Court Order Commanding them to report

to work and the workers obeyed the Law and

showed up, none of this was attempted by

Reagan all them Rich Guys in California that

made Him Governor he was a talker but but

Collective Bargaining and and Anti Trust

Legislation was Destroyed by The Court as

Soon as he had got Scalia and had the Votes

that's fucked up
the Supreme Court upheld him and the law of

the Land Changed, and Unions were unable to

function

has he a name?
How can I get involved, I like animals and they

depend on us because humans bred them
I had to go to Nashville today and when we

pulled back into 3rd St. we saw a raccoon

crossing the street in front of us in broad

daylight like he didn't have a care in the

world, my Dad feeds coons at the corner of of

Waterloo and Buffalo Road where there is a

very steep place going down in a holler or

hallow it's not even tended to
Shoal Creek is at the bottom and it's

dangerous if not in shape to walk down to

around there, so we had feral cats, 18 at one

time, because there was a black cat that

needed a meal, and we had just come from

seeing my Dad's eldest sister, who was in her

ninety's when she went home to the Lord
She had scolded her son to get cat food

because there was a barnyard cat there like he

wanted something, and she invoked the Words

of her Mother Ma Coleman, that "there would

be no creatures on our property Hungry!

THAT BLACK CAT was fed and the family grew

the 18 were all her offspring or grandchildren

cats and feral cats are better off fed and

allowed to function within it's instincts because

the mother trains them to be still and quiet in

the night some of them cats were great,

CLYDE was my first pal among them who would

respond to me a a friendly, i could pet him and

he domesticated by the nutrition not the really

lap-cat but he liked to play too

CAT MURDERED It was truly a sad and bizarre

day when we returned home from a trip from

Detroit and clyde's carcass lay spread eagle

on the cat porch and as I got closer I saw

some critters had eaten him some. Clyde was

et. Hey people get hit by cars, Shit Happen's!

and performed the grim funeral of Clyde

I thought of Soylent Green, Charlton Heston

Shouting, "Soylent Green is PEOPLE!"

This is going to a house dog a companion, I'm

on disability here and no other dogs here he'll

be fenced in, i don't live in the wilderness, but I

seen what happens with the personality of the

dog It's unnecessary, and i don't want to look

at a butchered animal everyday! the dog dog

will think he's in NY City because thing's

function that way in my house, Even if I'm from

Detroit because we rolled that way
